The analysis and exploration on the problems including content, way, key techniques, organization forms, and the relation between digital Yangtze River and digital earth etc., combining with concrete features of water conservancy trade, are performed. An applied mode of future digital Yangtze River technology in the water conservancy trade is proposed, and the important significance of development and construction of digital Yangtze River to the development of future science and technology in our country emphasized. Lastly,
