Abstract

Development of dam safety monitoring system is an enormous system engineering.Based on the specific character of a great deal of data,wide knowledge in the field of dam safety monitoring and the principle that application softwa re may be modular,extensible and easily operating,and making full use of the advanced theories and methods of some disciplines,such as network technique,data base technique and development technique of decisionmaking supporting system,a design thought of “one machine and four base systems” is put forward,the three layer client/server mode structure adopted and the dynamically regenerative system developed,and thus, the monitoring on line in real time for dam safety status can be realized.This design provides a new idea for developing conmom dam safety monitoring system.
