The properties of dolomite limestone water glass grout material were studied, including cohesion, setting time, calculus strength and mortar strength. Results showed that its flow ability is good, setting time can b e controlled from 6 hours to 20 hours with different ratios of liquid to solid , calculus strength and solidified mortar strength of limestone water glass samples(4 cm.4 cm.16 cm) cured at 40℃ can reach 1～3 MPa and 2～6 MPa respectively. The effects of various kinds of lime stones ,their sizes of grains, various ratios of liquid to solid on mortar strength were discussed. Research results showed that the higher the MgO content is and finer the grain sizes ,the higher the mortar strength will be. When limestone:water glass :water is 1∶0.6∶0.1(weight rat io of formula),this grout with good comprehensive properties can be obtained and can practise single liquid grouting.
