Abstract

On the basis of summarizing the chemical grouting experiences and engineering practices, the chemical grouting equipment marked type HGB-1(2) has been developed. The equipment was designed using self action principle, in which an oil cylinder and a pump were adopted as implement elements, liquid pressure kinetic energy was used as source of dynamic force, and a proper electronic control system was set. The separate structure was employed in the equipment , including an automatic governing, steady pressure and variable discharge pump and a close pipeline system for transferring and storing mortar. The equipment may be controlled for a long distance and can satisfy chemical grouting working in situ. Satisfactory results were obtained using the equipment during the treatment of fault F215 of the Three Gorges.
