Abstract

According to operatorsplitting theory,the equation s for uniform flow of rectangular open channels can be separated into two simple formulas.And through coupling method,the approximate formula in the whole defin ition domain can be obtained.This approximate formula is simple,convenient for c alculating,and its precision reached is 10^-5.
