his paper presents the principle and methods of hydro-fracturing goestress measurement in underground plant area of Shuibuya Project on Qingjiang River. The test result shows that the constitute of geo-stress field accords with the geo-mechanics mechanism of this area, he gravitational stress is predominant in the geo-stress field ,which belongs to medium geo-stress level.
