Abstract

Abstract According to the features with high head,large unit discharge and worse geological condition downstream spillway of the shuibuya project ,a 1∶165 scale generalized model is used to study different dissipaters so as to select a fit one for the project.Then a 1∶100 scale comprehensive model and a 1∶80 scale sectional models are used to study hydraulic properties of the flip bucket dissipater and the combired dissipater with a stilling basin and a flip bucket respectively,Finally,the singalstaged bucket dissipater is proposed as primary scheme of dissipater fo design.
