Test System for Landslide Caused by Rainfall and Reservoir Water Fluctuation

Abstract: Rainfall and reservoir water are important factors causing landslides. In order to study the regularity of rainfall and reservoir water affecting the seepage and stability of slope, we developed and built a small system platform for landslide model test. The system is mainly composed of artificial rainfall subsystem, model test framework, test data acquisition subsystem, non-contact displacement measurement subsystem and physical measurement sensors. Taking the landslide at Sunjiazhuang as an example, we established a landslide physical model with similar ratio of 1∶200, and carried out rainfall intensity tests through artificial rainfall system. The regularity of seepage variation in landslide body under different rainfall intensities were obtained, which proved the feasibility of this system.
