Abstract: Through the design of centrifugal vibration table model test of steep dip bedding rock slope, the key technical parameters of test apparatus, the dynamic similarity relations, the selection of similar materials and the installation and arrangement of sensors are discussed. The loading scheme of seismic wave is also determined. Moreover, through analyzing the errors in centrifugal field and sensors installation as well as boundary conditions, corresponding measures of reducing the errors are put forward based on comparison with previous experiences. Results suggest that centrifugal shaker table test should be designed rationally; system error in the centrifugal force field could be diminished as the model size and stress are consistent with those of the prototype; error of sensors could be reduced by filling sand around sensors; aluminum-alloy frame model box with multiple shear layers could reduce boundary effect to the largest extent.
