Abstract: Physical model test with similar materials for Nanwen debris landslide was conducted to reveal the deformation failure mode of debris landslide under earthquake load. The displacement of anti-slide piles of different depths and the deformations of slope under earthquake load were analyzed. Furthermore, a non-linear finite element model of elastic-plastic dynamic consolidation of large strain was built to verify the deformation failure of debris landslide. The dynamic displacement of pile top and the deformation response of pile of varying depth were analyzed. The embedded depth of anti-slide piles should be 0.29-0.31 times the pile length for Nanwen debris landslide. The model design method and research idea could offer reference for related researches.
