Abstract: The article states the four influence factors of vegetation restoration in slope of rocky soil, such as climate conditions, characteristics of rocky soil, shape of the slope and vegetation breeding and conservation, describes brief1y the progress of the vegetation restoration technology in the slope, summarizes the main styles and its characteristics from the tradition and new technologies, and especially analyzes existing problems, e.g., respecting the ecological succession law, emphasizing stabilization of the slope and permanent green effect, insisting the combination method of protecting slope with shrub and grass, and reducing destroy to the nature. At last the development tendency is put forward.
