城市化的快速发展对城市区域水环境产生了重要影响。为此，从城市化过程中的地表水文过程变化、城市化与地表水环境、城市化与城市水资源等方面论述了目前国内外的研究现状，并分析了目前研究中存在的不足，提出了城市水资源可持续利用对策。

Urbanization is a kind of land surface process controlled by human activities. Urbanization has a profound impact on the quantity and quality of water resources, which includes following aspects， such as the rain fall and runoff characteristics in urban district, inundation disaster, and quality of surface water. The actual research state of urban hydrology effect was discussed from the primary factors and the changes of urban hydrology characteristics, and the deficiencies of hydrologic investigation at present were put forward. It is therefore urgent to study the changes of surface runoff in urban and suburban areas and its relationship with eco - environmental imp acts for the sustainable development of cities.
