为保证电子政务系统的安全性，提出了把自动指纹识别技术用于电子政务涉密信息加密的方法。基于指纹信息的唯一性，利用比较成熟的自动指纹识别技术，探讨研究将指纹信息作为身份认证加随机密钥生成方法，来实现对电子政务涉密信息的加密或解密。

To assure the security for E － government, the paper puts forward the automated fingerprint identification system (AFIS) which can be applied to transmission secret information in E － government. On the basis of the unique fingerprint character to every person and using AFIS, the authors discussed that fingerprint information as identifying certification with a randomized secret － key could be utilized to cryptopass or undo the documents. 
