通过资料分析，弄清了长江中下游洪水位增高的范围仅限于荆江河段及城陵矶、螺山一带。研究了洪水位增高机理，认为近代长江一些河段洪水位增高的主要原因是人类活动的影响。因此，规范人类对河道的治理开发行为，控制人类活动对河道的影响，是抑制洪水位上涨的重要措施。

Through analysing related data it is clarified that the rising range of flood water level is limited only in the Jingjiang reach and Chenglingji Luoshan reach. In studying the mechanism of flood water level rise, the author considered that the main reason is the results of the influence of human activities. So ,to standardize the action of people in regulation and development of river and to control the influence of human activities are the important measures for controlling flood water level rise. 
