长江中下游河道大尺度的窝崩，常常危及两岸江堤的防洪安全，给人民生命财产造成较大的危害。为研究河岸窝崩的治理措施，分析了河岸窝崩的特点、危害及成因，提出以沉梢坝锁口促淤方案来治理河岸大尺度窝崩是较为有效的措施。

The large scale Ω-caving bank at the middle and lower reaches of theYangtze River frequently threatens the safety of the flood control, and the lives and properties of the people along the both banks. In order to study the treatment measures of the Ωcaving bank in river channel, the paper analyzes the features, the damage and the causes of the river bank failure. Moreover, a more effective counter measure, namely the scheme of sinking timber dam to aid deposition to harness the large scale Ωcaving bank, is presented in the paper.
