应用非饱和土的双应力状态变量理论，探讨了鄂西 北及南阳盆地膨胀土的抗剪强度特性，阐述了非饱和膨胀土抗剪强度指标与含水量、基质吸力的关系。为解决工程实践中的膨胀土问题提供了经验。

Employing a phenomenological approach consistent wi th continuum mechanics of unsaturated soil,the shear strength behaviors of unsat urated soils in the counties of westnorth of Hubei province and Nanyang of He nan province are explored.The relationships of shear strength of unsaturated soi ls with water content and matrix suction are represented.Some experiences for so lving the application of expansive soils in engineering are obtained.
