Research on the Impact of Deep Foundation Pit Excavation in Fractured Strata on Adjacent Metro Stations

To investigate the deformation response patterns of nearby subway stations during deep foundation pit excavation in fractured strata, this study examines a deep foundation pit project in fractured strata adjacent to Shenzhen Metro Line 5. Based on theoretical analysis, numerical simulation, and field monitoring, it conducts an in-depth investigation into the deformation issues of nearby subway stations caused by unloading effects during foundation pit excavation. The results demonstrate that, by considering the coordinated deformation of soil body and enclosure structure under the spatial effect of pit excavation of excavation and calculating additional stresses using the Mindlin solution, a more accurate formula for calculating station deformation is established. A comparative analysis of the calculated results, numerical analysis, and monitoring data reveals consistent trends, demonstrating that numerical analysis methods can provide a reliable basis for subsequent analysis of influencing factors. A sensitivity analysis of various factors influencing station deformation using gray correlation analysis method reveals that the correlation degrees of the diaphragm wall moment of inertia, soil cover thickness and excavation depth are 0.874, 0.816 and 0.759 respectively, which are relatively high.
